This Privacy Policy explains how 2R Auto Platform (“we,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our platform at rrauto.app and shop.rrauto.app.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Account information: Name, email address, password
- Shop information: Shop name, address, bay count, labor rates
- Business data: Customer records, vehicle information, work orders, inspection reports, invoices
- Payment information: Billing details processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
- Communications: Messages you send to us
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data: Pages viewed, features used, actions taken
- Device information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type
- Log data: Server logs including timestamps and errors
- Cookies: Authentication tokens and preferences stored in your browser
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To authenticate you and maintain account security
- To send service-related communications (receipts, security alerts, account notices)
- To respond to support requests
- To analyze usage and improve the platform

We do not sell your personal information or business data. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers: Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), cloud infrastructure. Bound by confidentiality agreements.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or government authority.
- Business transfers: If acquired or merged — we will notify you before this occurs.
- With your consent: For other purposes with explicit consent.
4. Your Customer Data
Information about your shop's customers entered into the platform is your data. We process it only to provide the Service and do not use it for our own marketing.
5. Data Security
We implement: TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, row-level database security isolating your shop's data, secure authentication, and regular security reviews. We will notify you promptly of any security breach affecting your data.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. Upon cancellation, we delete your data within 90 days, except as required by law. You may request earlier deletion.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and browser local storage for authentication and preferences only. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
8. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of data we hold about you
- Correction: Update inaccurate information via account settings
- Deletion: Request deletion of personal data
- Export: Request an export of your business data
- Opt-out: Opt out of marketing communications (transactional emails like receipts cannot be disabled)

9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-platform notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
